BRANDS / PENTAX

Pentax equipment repair in Belgrade.

Digital cameras and lenses, following assessment of the fault and parts availability.

Recognisable symptoms and possible repair procedures

These are examples of symptoms we can investigate. A symptom can have several causes; examples are not claims of a manufacturing defect and do not apply to every model.

K-50: release blocked with an aperture-ring lens

First check the A position on the appropriate lens and permission to use the aperture ring in the camera settings, as described in the manual.

Our inspection approach: If correct settings do not resolve it, we check contacts, the aperture lever and release cycle, then possible mechanical or electronic repair.

Unexpectedly dark photographs

Exposure, settings and lens behaviour must be separated from aperture control problems inside the body.

Our inspection approach: We compare another compatible lens and check aperture opening and closing. Confirmed faults may require repair or replacement of the relevant assembly.

Autofocus does not confirm sharpness

Low contrast or light may make focusing difficult without a hardware fault. Tell us the conditions and lens.

Our inspection approach: We test under controlled conditions, inspecting contacts and the focus drive used by the particular camera-and-lens combination.

Check the official Pentax documentation ↗ for model-specific messages and limitations. The repair possibilities described here are our inspection approach, not manufacturer instructions for DIY repairs.

What to include in your enquiry

Send the full model name, camera mount where relevant, exact error message and when the problem occurs. Tell us about impact, liquid exposure, previous opening and any adapter or additional equipment. A short video can help explain an intermittent fault.

We first establish the cause and check the required parts. Not every model or type of damage can be repaired; we discuss options, price and an estimated turnaround before work starts.
