Inspection and repair
A lens combines optics, precision mechanics and electronics. Focus, aperture and communication symptoms can have different causes even when they appear similar.
We inspect Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, SIGMA, Tamron and VILTROX lenses. Depending on the model and fault, work may involve flexible connections, the aperture, focus drive, stabilisation, mount or zoom mechanism.
Record the full model, mount and camera body. If possible, note whether it behaves the same on another compatible body. Do not force a jammed focus or zoom ring after a drop.

After inspection
We explain the identified problem, repair options, estimated cost and expected turnaround. Any parts that must be ordered are discussed before work continues.
Firmware updates: SIGMA ART and Tamron
We update supported SIGMA ART lenses for Canon and Nikon cameras, and supported Tamron lenses for Nikon cameras. We check the complete model, mount, existing version and official compatibility with the camera body. Support varies by model and available manufacturer firmware.
A firmware update is not a repair for physical damage. An unresponsive or mechanically damaged lens needs inspection first.
