These are examples of symptoms we can investigate. A symptom can have several causes; examples are not claims of a manufacturing defect and do not apply to every model.
With DSLR systems, focus adjustment must be distinguished from drive failure. Tell us the complete model, mount and camera.
Our inspection approach: We test focus under repeatable conditions. Supported models may allow adjustment with the correct USB DOCK. Confirmed faults require motor, connection and electronic checks.
Update support depends on the specific model and version. Lenses and mounts do not all use the same process.

Send the full model name, camera mount where relevant, exact error message and when the problem occurs. Tell us about impact, liquid exposure, previous opening and any adapter or additional equipment. A short video can help explain an intermittent fault.
We first establish the cause and check the required parts. Not every model or type of damage can be repaired; we discuss options, price and an estimated turnaround before work starts.
We update supported SIGMA ART lenses for Canon and Nikon cameras, and supported Tamron lenses for Nikon cameras. We check the complete model, mount, existing version and official compatibility with the camera body. Support varies by model and available manufacturer firmware.
A firmware update is not a repair for physical damage. An unresponsive or mechanically damaged lens needs inspection first.
